Glossary

Page view

A request for a particular webpage, received by the server and sent to the user. Also referred to as a page impression.

Unique user

A single visitor to the website, repeat visits are not counted. The visit must not be made by a spider, bot or other indexing agent.

Visit

Commonly called User Session. Measures all activity for one user of a website.
