Changing text size

 
If you find this site difficult to read because the text is too small, you can change the text size by either using the links at the top of the web page or by changing your browser settings.

Text size controls

You can change the text size using the ‘text size’ controls at the top of each web page. Use the <tab> key or mouse to click on the font size buttons at the top right hand of the web page. The three ‘A’s change the text size from normal to very large.

Changing the text size using your browser

If you would prefer to change the text size via your browser, follow the instructions below:

Internet Explorer

From the menu buttons at the very top of your screen, select "view" and then select "text size".

Firefox

Press the "Ctrl" and "+" keys at the same time to make text larger.

Press the "Ctrl" and "-" keys at the same time to make text smaller.

Or go to "view" and then select "text size".

Mozilla

Press the "Ctrl" and "+" keys at the same time to make text larger.

Press the "Ctrl" and "-" keys at the same time to make text smaller.

Or go to "view" and then select "text zoom".

Opera

Enable numeric keypad by pressing "Num Lock", then:

Press 0 to zoom in.

Press 9 to zoom out.

Or go to "view" and then select "zoom".

Netscape

Press the "Ctrl" and "]" keys at the same time to make text larger.

Press the "Ctrl" and "[" keys at the same time to make text smaller.

Or go to "view" and then select "increase font or "decrease font".

You can also resize the text by scrolling with the wheel of your mouse whilst holding down the control key.

NB: Support for Netscape has stopped on 31 March 2008.  Netscape users are advised to download Mozilla Firefox in it’s place.
