Accidents resulting from a street or lighting problem
We carry out regular inspections of all highways and street furniture.
If damage is caused between inspections it is important that anyone who notices such damage should
report the problem
as quickly as possible to the Council so that repairs or replacement can be carried out.
To make an insurance claim against Highways
If a fall on the highway results in an injury and you wish to make a claim, please contact the Council's Insurance Team in writing using the address below:
