Grass cutting
We maintain grassed areas in the borough, such as:
verges on public highways
green areas in council estates
How often we cut the grass in an area depends on variations in the weather. For example, in warm wet weather, grass grows faster and requires more frequent cutting.
When to report a problem
If the grass in you estate looks 'overgrown', or if you think we have missed an area during our maintenance work, please report it to us. You can also report overgrown hedges.
