Your normal refuse collection service will be able to take away some waste, although many items will be too large to dispose of in this way and you may need a skip. Local authorities may sometimes provide these or, if not, can you give advice on where they can be obtained. Specialist waste firms are an alternative.
If you are making an insurance claim, do not dispose of any item until you are told to do so.
