If you live in flatted accommodation, you can still recycle.
Simply put all your recycling in the large blue recycling bins situated in the grounds of your flats.
Don't mix your rubbish up...
The scheme, like our doorstep collection scheme, is for mixed dry recycling. The success of the scheme depends on you not contaminating your recycling.
Remember:
- DO NOT mix normal household rubbish or food and garden waste with the recyclable materials
- DO rinse out tins, plastic bottles etc

Replacement bins
Usually the caretaker, management company or our collection crews will notice if a replacement bin is needed. However if you would like to report a damaged bin, please contact the Call Centre using the details on the right and we will replace it within seven working days.
No recycling bin on your estate?
The recycling service will soon be available to all flatted estates in the borough.
In the meantime, you can also take your recycling to the nearest recycling bank.
When the service comes to your estate, we will drop a leaflet through your letter box, which will tell you what you can recycle.
