Clinical and other waste

Some types of waste – such as chemical or clinical waste – need to be disposed of in a special way.

Inform your licensed waste collection company about the type of waste you need collected. They will be able to provide you with suitable containers, and dispose of the waste in the proper manner.

Clinical waste

The Council also provides a clinical waste collection service.

To receive a quote for or find out more about the disposal of clinical waste, including needles and syringes, call 020 8921 4647.

Charges vary, depending on the size and type of waste.

Missed collections

If you have signed up for our clinical waste collection service and we miss a collection, please inform us by calling 020 8921 4661 and we will come back within one working day.

Hazardous waste

For a fee, the Corporation of London's Hazardous Waste Unit will collect hazardous waste such as asbestos and chemicals.

To receive a quote please ring the Hazardous Waste Unit on 020 7332 3433.
