The Council's Waste Services team offers special collection services if you want to dispose of something big and bulky, like a sofa or a fridge, or unwanted textiles.
If you have bulky items to dispose of, you have a number of choices:
- Take items - BY CAR ONLY - to the Council's Reuse and recycling centre free of charge.
- Use the Council's special collection service.

- Hire a skip.
- Pay another licensed waste carrier to dispose of the goods.
