Developing Woolwich

 
The Council has set up the Woolwich Regeneration Agency. This new agency incorporates the Woolwich Development Agency and Woolwich Town Centre Agency.

It will develop the potential of Woolwich as a key strategic location within the Thames Gateway by:

  • improving the town centre's facilities and services
  • ensuring that new developments and the transport infrastructure are integrated
The Woolwich Regeneration Agency was set up with support from the then Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (now the Department for Communities and Local Government), London Development Agency and the Council.
