Changes In Common
Changes in Common is a resident-led partnership that also comprises local Councillors, businesses, service providers and the voluntary sector.
Together, we work to:
shape local services to better meet local needs
achieve this through the active engagement of citizens in identifying problems and designing solutions.
This active engagement of residents and stakeholders is key to bringing about wider change within the neighbourhood. We support grass roots activity to keep our many communities involved.
Which area does it cover?
The geographic focus of Changes in Common is the Woolwich Common neighbourhood. This is one of the five priority areas identified in the Greenwich Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy.

Funding
In a unique arrangement, the Changes in Common partnership oversees two government-funded programmes:
Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder
Sure Start local programme
Funding for these two programmes will end in March 2008.
The work of the partnership has also benefited from a range of financial and in-kind contributions from our partners. The partnership seeks to attract additional funding wherever possible.
Achievements
A number of our
projects
have proved particularly successful.
