The proposals include:

  • 4,400 dwellings, including 1,900 affordable home
  • quality open space
  • a new local centre

The objective is to create a mixed neighbourhood and community that is integrated with the surrounding area.

Supplementary Planning Document

To support the UDP, the Council has drafted a Kidbrooke Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

The SPD provides details on the principles of any future development in the Kidbrooke area, while adhering to UDP policies and proposals.

The Kidbrooke SPD went out for public consultation on 24 October 2007. The consultation is now closed.

A final SPD is expected to be adopted early 2008.
