Greenwich is currently undergoing a major transformation with one of the largest regeneration agendas in the UK.
What is regeneration?
Regeneration and renewal involves developing, or redeveloping, every aspect of our built environment, from housing, publi spaces and transport networks, to business and jobs, as well as shopping and entertainment facilities.
Our vision
The shared vision for Greenwich is that by 2015 local communities will have access to training, jobs, decent housing, quality services, parks and open spaces, vibrant town centres, a range of leisure opportunities and increased prosperity.
Who is realising the vision?
The regeneration of the borough is driven by the Council and its partners, and based on the vision and priorities set out in the Greenwich Strategy. For more information, see
