Making an appeal
If your application is refused, or if you are unhappy with the conditions attached to an approved application, you can make an appeal.
Don't leave it too late, the period for making an appeal is three months.
An appeal should only ever be a last resort - it could perhaps be solved by changing your proposal.
Appeals are nearly always dealt with by an Inspector appointed by The Planning Inspectorate.

The appeal form
To make an appeal you must use an official form from The Planning Inspectorate. There are different forms to do with planning permission, listed buildings or Conservation Area consent.

Contact the Council
As well as the Planning Inspectorate, you must also send a copy of the appeal form direct to the Council's planning department at:
