You can comment on current planning applications, as well as the borough’s overall development plan. You are also entitled to attend planning committee meetings.

Current planning applications

You have 21 days after the application is published to send in your comments to the Council. These comments will be taken in to account by the Council in its decision whether to grant planning permission to the applicant.

Current planning applications, decisions and appeals are listed on this website. The full applications, including architects’ drawings are available for viewing at the planning department.

The Council will post notices near the sites of all applications. All our libraries have a list of the current applications, but only those in the immediate area of that library.

View a guide on how to comment on planning applications.

Planning committee meetings

All members of the public have the right to attend planning committee meetings. You can have your say and ask questions at the meeting.
If you wish to speak at a committee meeting, you are encouraged to call the committee clerk in advance on 020 8921 5144.

Borough plans

Every planning application in the Greenwich borough is considered against policies set out in the Unitary Development Plan (July 2006). The plan covers key strategic policies such as housing locations and targets.
