FAQ
Do I need to include the need to lop or cut down a tree or trees in my application?
Yes, the Council wishes to see existing trees returned wherever possible as they benefit the local and wider environment. You should accurately show the position and spread of any existing trees on your plans and state which, if any, are to be felled.
You can prune trees without seeking permission unless they are within a conservation area or have a Tree Preservation Order attached to them.
