If you’re 60 years old or over, you could be able to get a Winter Fuel Payment worth around £200 to most people.
It doesn’t matter how much income or savings you have and payments don’t affect any other benefits or pensions.
Are you eligible?
Payments should be made automatically if you
- received a Winter Fuel Payment last year
- or if you receive a state pension
Other residents who are 60 years or older need to check their eligibility by making a claim.
