An unusual park with a large pond, wild-life gardens, gazebo and a mosaic floor compass made by Greenwich Mural Workshop. The park was designed with local residents and financed through fund raising.
The Park received a Civic Trust award for design in 2000.
The park offers a large water feature, wildlife gardens, and a play boat.
Friends of parks
Twinkle Park is leased - together with Charlotte Turner Gardens - by Twinkle Park Trust from Greenwich Council.
The Trust manages both parks and has undertaken a refurbishment programme. It works in partnership with Parks and Open Spaces to maintain them. The original master plan was designed in consultation with local residents, who are involved in the continuing use of these open spaces.

Playgrounds
Children’s play area and a specially designed gazebo - the gate and seats nearby divide the play area and the gardens so the park can remain open to the public while the neighbouring school uses the play area during school hours.
At these times the general public is requested not to access the play area..
