Cutty Sark Gardens

Artist's impression of restored Cutty Sark Coming soon: A new visitor attraction for the 21st century
Normally dominated by the majestic tea clipper, Cutty Sark, which is closed for conservation works until 2010, this wide open space overlooks the River Thames and Docklands.

Greenwich Tourist Information Centre, Cutty Sark Visitor Centre and Greenwich Pier are all here.

River boat trips leave from the pier for Westminster, Embankment and the Tower of London. You can also take a walk under the Thames through the Greenwich foot tunnel and enjoy a view of the waterfront from Island Gardens on the north side of the river.

Restoring the Cutty Sark

Please note: Cutty Sark is currently closed for a major conservation and redevelopment programme. The ship is expected to re-open in summer 2010.
