Charlotte Turner Gardens
A welcoming green space, operating as a village green, situated in a built up area.
Friends of parks
Together with Twinkle Park, Charlotte Turner Gardens is managed by Twinkle Park Trust.
Extensive refurbishments to the Gardens have been made since 2001, resulting in some interesting features such as an analemmatic sundial and a dog free space, which was designed with park users such as the elderly and those with young children, in mind.

What is an analemmatic sundial?
An analemmatic (pronounced an-l-e-MAT-ik) sundial is a horizontal sundial using a scale shaped like a figure 8, where the vertical object casting the shadow has to be moved depending on the day.
This shadow casting object can be a person.
