Guinea pigs
Originating from South America, guinea pigs can live for five to eight years. Although they are shy and get scared easily they are nosey and very friendly characters.
They make squeaking noises like a pig.
Our lovely ladies
Meet Champagne, Candy and Penny, our lovely ladies. Candy, the oldest of the three, is still full of life.
To sponsor a guinea pig will cost £25 a year. This will help to pay for food and vet's bills and the maintenance of their living area.
Did you know?
Guinea pigs were originally kept as pets by sailors, who eventually bought them to Europe and sold them for a guinea, which is how they got their name.
