Allotment fees
The fee you pay to rent an allotment will depend on its size. There are different sizes available and they contain a nominal area of X times 5.030 metres (rods) or thereabouts.
Concessionary rates are available for over sixties and 'Higher Saver' GreenwichCard holders.
Every April we will send you the invoice for the year's rent. You can pay online by selecting 'Council invoices' using
the Council's online payments service
.
Annual cost per 5.030 metres (rod)
From 1 April 2009 (no change on previous year):
Greenwich borough residents - £6.50
Non-borough residents - £8.50
Concessions for over-60s
Applicants who are aged over 60 enjoy special fees if they can produce proof of age.
From 1 April 2009 (no change on previous year):
Greenwich borough residents over 60 - £3.50
Non-borough residents over 60 - £5.00
Concessions for GreenwichCard holders
GreenwichCard holders can also enjoy lower fees by presenting their card.
From 1 April 2009 (No change on previous year):
GreenwichCard holders - £5.90
GreenwichCard Higher Saver holders - £3.50
