Where no dogs are allowed (Noveomber 2009)

 
Under the Dog Control Orders (updated November 2009), the 'No dogs allowed' order is being enforced in the locations listed on this page.

Areas where dogs are prohibited

All of the following properties areas, managed or maintained by the London Borough of Greenwich:

  • children’s playgrounds
  • adventure playgrounds
  • ball parks
  • multi use game areas
  • skate parks
  • cycle tracks
  • athletic tracks
  • cemeteries
  • crematoriums
  • tennis courts
  • paddling pools
  • bowling greens
  • fenced areas around refreshment facilities
  • fenced picnic areas
  • all water features (natural and artificial).
All children's playgrounds and multi-use areas owned, managed or maintained by Gallions Housing Association are also off limits to dogs. 

In addition, the order will be in force at these places:

  • Avery Hill Park Rose Garden
  • Birdbrook Road (park or open space)
  • Camdale Road (park or open space)
  • Charlotte Turner Gardens (fenced dog exclusion area)
  • Eaglesfield Bird Sanctuary
  • Eglington Hill Bird Sanctuary
  • Fearon Park
  • Greening Street (park or open space)
  • Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
  • Hervey Road Sports Ground
  • Kidbrooke Nature Reserve
  • Lessa Pond
  • Shrewsbury Tumulus
  • The Tarn
  • Twinkle Park
  • Well Hall Pleasaunce.
