The next Council elections in Greenwich will be held on Thursday, 6 May 2010.
In the last Council elections held on 4 May 2006 Labour held control of Greenwich Council.

Greenwich wards
Greenwich has 51 Councillors across 17 local government electoral areas (these are called wards). There are 36 Labour Councillors, 13 Conservatives and two Liberal Democrats.
