FAQ
What if I move?
If you are moving outside the borough, contact your new local council for a registration application form, or download one from their website. When they process your application they will also notify us (you have to tell them the registration address you have moved from) so we can remove you from our local register.
If you have moved to another address within the borough, you can download an
individual registration form
. Please complete all parts of the form including your previous registration address and nationality (if not UK, Irish or Commonwealth). You cannot apply to be registered until you have moved into your new address. Alternatively, you can ring 020 8921 5183 or email the electoral office at
elect@greenwich.gov.uk
If you are moving shortly before an election you could still be a Greenwich elector on polling day. Contact either this office or your new electoral office immediately to ask about your vote. You may need to apply for a postal vote.
