Integrated service centres

Service Centres

As part of our modernisation programme we have built two integrated local centres - one in Eltham and the other at the Riverside Centre in Woolwich.

We will be building a further centre in Woolwich (which will be the main centre and will replace the Riverside Centre) and another in Greenwich.

Together, these centres will offer a range of easy-to-access leisure, library, community and Council services. See the links in the left menu for more on the work being done at each centre.

Attracting investment

The major investment that we are carrying out by developing these centres will improve service delivery. The centres will play a big part in assisting the regeneration of our borough by becoming hubs of activity within our town centres.

We are aiming to attract commercial investment, generate employment opportunities and make Greenwich an even better place to live, work and study.

While we're building

Some disruption is inevitable while this exciting work is underway. We will do our best to keep the disruption to a minimum, but please bear with us during this time of major change.

We will ensure that access to Council services is maintained throughout any building works.
