This group has about 36 members, most of whom are involved in the marketing of attractions in Greenwich, including transport operators and accommodation providers.
The group provides a structure for:
1. Information exchange between Greenwich attractions and affiliated businesses, Greenwich Council and tourism industry bodies to highlight industry initiatives, consolidate ideas and share best practise;
2. Implementing joint marketing and operational campaigns as appropriate;
3. Disseminating information from other related fora including World Heritage Site (WHS) Marketing & Promotions Group, Town Centre Agencies and the Greenwich Partnership (borough wide);
4. Communicating industry obligations (voluntary or statutory) i.e. quality grading schemes, Disability Discrimination Act;
5. Networking;
6. Hosting industry speakers as appropriate.
The group meets every 2 months to share information.
Membership is by invitation.
