What is the Safer Greenwich Partnership?
The Safer Greenwich Partnership (SGP) is the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) for the London Borough of Greenwich. Safer Greenwich brings together the Council, the Metropolitan Police Service, the London Fire Brigade, the Greenwich Primary Care Trust, the Metropolitan Police Authority and Probation in order to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse.
Aims
The SGP exists to “make Greenwich a safer place and a place where people feel secure” by working in partnership to deliver an integrated service that tackles crime, antisocial behaviour and substance misuse.
The SGP aims to build a sense of community and improve the quality of life for people who live in the borough, while reducing fear of crime. The SGP aims to make Greenwich a place where people will feel safe and secure when they visit, work, study, or shop here.
