Since 1999 Greenwich has invested over £40 million in capital improvements. A further £30 million will be spent over the next three years. Much of this investment will go into the creation of post-16 centres, and to help create provision in mainstream school settings for children with special educational needs (SEN).

Building Schools for the Future

Greenwich has been made a pathfinder authority in the Government's Building Schools for the Future programme. This will transform every secondary school in Greenwich by the end of the decade through a mix of public and private sector funding.
