All welcome to Health and Well Being events

Residents in the Deptford, West Greenwich, Glyndon and Woolwich areas have a chance to drop in and find out about being fit and healthy, at a series of locally-based Health and Well Being events this month.

All the events take place from 1pm - 4pm, with dates and venues as follows:

Thursday 23 March 
Holy Trinity Church Hall, Bennett Grove, Orchard Estate, SE13

Wednesday 29th March
Clockhouse Community Centre, Defiance Walk, Dockyard Estate, SE18

Thursday 30th March
Glyndon Community Centre, Raglan Road SE18

A team of healthy living specialists will be on hand to advise on the ‘Twelve steps to health and well being’.

Visitors will be able to watch demonstrations and get free information about other healthy living activities available in the Orchard, Coldbath and Creekside area.

Also available:
· free fruit
· healthy bites
· guided exercise
· volunteering opportunities
· complementary therapies.

Timetable for each of the events:
1.30 - 1.50 Physical Activity Demonstration
2.00 - 2.25 Stir Fry Demonstration
3.00 - 3.15 Physical Activity Demonstration
3.30 - 3.45 Gardening Demonstration

The events are organised in partnership between Greenwich Teaching Primary Care Trust, the Healthy Greenwich Network, and Greenwich Neighbourhood Renewal.
