Reviewing what's important to you

The Best Value Review Programme was set up to look at issues that the public said were important to them.

Councillors, Council workers and 'stakeholders' (eg residents, local business, community groups) are asked for their views.

  • Find out the details of the programme on the How it works page
  • The Best Value process is to be completed within the municipal year. There are three themes for each period. Find out which themes we have reviewed by clicking the appropriate time period on the left.

Current reviews

You can read about the reviews for the 2008 to 2009 year here.

Progress and outcomes of reviews

Information on the progress on, or outcomes of, these reviews will be found in the Council's relevant Best Value Performance Plans (sometimes called Corporate Performance Plans).
