Affordable housing
How we did it
Background documents
The Council has a clear vision for delivering housing and sustainable communities. We have put in place a number of strategies and action plans along with our partners and stakeholders.
Strategies and plans
Greenwich strategy
The Greenwich Strategy sets a vision for the whole of Greenwich, housing is one of its five main themes.
Housing strategy
From the Greenwich strategy, the Council then agrees a housing strategy. This sets out the vision that "by 2010 we want Greenwich to be a place where everyone is able to afford a decent home."
South East London housing strategy
This strategy provides a framework and action plan to deliver housing services across South East London.
Unitary development plan
The UDP sets out a balanced strategy for the use of land to accommodate new homes while protecting the environment.
