Freedom of information
The publication scheme
The Publication Scheme is a guide to all routinely published information that is made readily available by the Council.
By "readily available" we mean that the information is available from a Council office or
public library
, will be supplied immediately when requested from the relevant Council department, or is available on the website.
For example, you will find a lot of information in our
strategies and plans
section.
You can read full details of
what publications are published
under the scheme.
What is the scheme for?
The purpose of the scheme is to ensure that a significant amount of routine information is made available to the public, without the need for a specific request under the Freedom of Information Act.
You can contact us if you have any
comments or complaints
about the Publication Scheme, or if you require
additional copies
in different formats.
All of our publications are subject to the Council's
copyright
rules.
