Transforming services

Mother and young boy looking at a computer screen Greenwich: an even better place to be
As part of the Council's commitment to excellent customer service, we are developing new service centres across Greenwich.

The new centres are all about putting a range of Council and community services in one location, to make accessing services as easy as possible for you.

Where are the centres?

There are four new service centres in this customer service programme - one in Woolwich centre, one in Greenwich, one in Eltham and one in Riverside House by the Woolwich waterfront.

You can find out more about each centre and the stages that we have reached in their development below.

Completed centres

Riverside House

Eltham Centre

Set to be ready in autumn 2007, the Eltham Centre will be the first one-stop Greenwich Council service centre.

You'll have access to Council services, leisure and learning facilities, all in one place.

Centres in development

Woolwich Civic Centre

The new Centre in Woolwich is a key part of our drive to put customer service at the heart of Council business.

The Centre will feature a new and expanded library and a local service centre where you will be able to carry out your Council business face-to-face and all in one place.

Greenwich Centre

You will see very exciting changes on the former Greenwich District Hospital site on Trafalgar Road. We are creating a residential-led, mixed-use development there, to meet your Council and community service needs.
