Payment methods
There are a number of quick and convenient ways to pay your Council Tax.
You can pay:
online or by telephone
via internet banking
by direct debit
(you can now set this up over the phone)
by post
direct from your salary or pension
Make a direct debit request now.
Paying in person
You can use your
payment card
to pay your Council Tax at a Post Office or PayPoint outlet.
If paying by cheque at the Post Office, the cheque must be made payable to 'Post Office Counters Ltd.'
Other options for making a payment in person are:
a bank giro
