How much will I have to pay?

Greenwich Council Tax for 2008 to 2009 has been formally agreed. Greenwich has once again set one of the lowest Council Tax increases in London.

Your bill

There is only one Council Tax bill per home, and this may be a house, flat, maisonette or other such dwelling. The amount to be paid for each home is decided by which 'band' of value it falls into. All properties were valued on the basis of their market value as at 1 April 1991.

The table below shows how much you will need to pay during the period from 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009 (without any reductions you may qualify for).

The previous year's rates (1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008) are provided for comparision.

Please note: Council Tax charges for Gloucester Circus properties are different.
