For telephone callers, there is a new 24-hour information service on 020 8921 4147.

This automated service provides information on Council Tax 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is simple and quick and there is no need to wait in a queue.

To help you get the information you need more quickly, please use one or more of the following Hot Keys when calling:

Press 1: To make a payment
Press 2: If you are moving
Press 3: If you have received a reminder, Final, Summons or Bailiff Warning Notice
Press 4: Discounts, exemptions and valuation bands
Press 5: If you have difficulties paying your bill
Press 6: General information about Council Tax
The opening hours for the call centre are:

Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5.30pm
Thursday and Friday 9am to 7pm
Saturday 9am to 12noon.

Please note that for training purposes, some calls are recorded.
