Committee members and meetings

 
All of the Council's Cabinet and Committee members are appointed at the Council's Annual General Meeting.

The General Purposes Committee meets to appoint new Committee members when unexpected vacancies come up during the year.

The Committee may also assign representatives to outside organisations, panels and boards relating to local issues.
