Safer and Stronger Communities Scrutiny Panel

 
The Safer and Stronger Communities Scrutiny Panel scrutinises and researches services and policy in areas that include community cohesion, community safety, emergency planning and home and road safety issues. The Panel also covers the clean environment and enviro-crime areas.

Attending meetings

You have a right to attend council meetings.

If you want to put forward a question on an agenda item for consideration at the meeting, it must be received in writing 24 hours before the meeting.

Panel responsibilities

This panel covers services and programmes run by Strategic Planning and (the public realm elements of) Culture and Community Services.

Particular emphasis is placed on corporate property management and SRB exit strategies, and a European function.
