The Area Planning and Environment Committee for Woolwich and Thamesmead deals with local planning issues for these wards: Abbey Wood, Charlton, Glyndon, Plumstead, Thamesmead Moorings, Woolwich Common and Woolwich Riverside.

When and where

Woolwich and Thamesmead Area Planning and Environment Committee meetings are held once a month, usually on the second Wednesday at 6.30pm.

This Committee has 14 members: ten Labour, three Conservative, one Liberal Democrat

The Liberal Democrat Group has indicated that it does not wish to take up its places on this Committee.
