Planning committees
The Planning Board
is responsible for the implementation and co-ordination of the Council’s planning functions. It determines all major strategic planning applications and highways and traffic management issues.
Area Planning and Environment Committees
are responsible for the consideration of non-strategic planning applications that need particular attention, usually due to objections raised.
