Full Council - members and meetings

All 51 Greenwich Councillors meet regularly at a Full Council meeting to discuss and vote on key Council policies and strategies. These meetings are open to the public.

When and where

Meetings are usually held at the Woolwich Town Hall at 7pm.

See the meetings schedule to find out when the next one will be held.

Agendas and minutes

The meeting dates on the left will take you to the most recent Council agendas and minutes.

You can also visit the archive of Full Council agendas, decisions and minutes for meetings from 2004 to 2007. This page also explains how to make a request for earlier Council meeting papers.

For more information on publication schedules, and how to find agenda hard copies and other Council papers, see the meeting papers information page.

Members

All Councillors (there are three Councillors for each ward) attend Full Council meetings.

The Councillors sit in their party political groupings with members of the Council's Cabinet in the front row. The Mayor controls the debate (like the Speaker in the House of Commons).

Annual General Meeting

The Council's Annual General Meeting is held in May each year. At this meeting, the Council sets the annual budget and Council Tax, appoints the Cabinet and sets the year's agenda.

Read the latest AGM agenda from 14 May 2008.
