The Probity and Conduct Panel's role is to promote high standards of conduct by Councillors and co-opted members in accordance with the Members’ Code of Conduct.

When and where

Meetings are held three times a year at the Town Hall.
See the meetings schedule to find out when the next meeting will be held.

The meeting dates on the left will take you to Cabinet agendas and minutes.

Members

Three Councillors one nominated by each party and three independent members; the Leader of the Council cannot be a member of the panel. (The Chair of the Panel must be an Independent Member).

Attending meetings

You have a right to attend council meetings.

If you want to put forward a question on an agenda item for consideration at the meeting, it must be received in writing 24 hours before the meeting.
