BEMEAC seeks to ensure, within the Council’s approved policies, that black people and other members of minority ethnic communities in the borough experience fair treatment and equal access to the services provided by the Education Directorate.
The BEMEAC can ask the Education Scrutiny Panel to examine a particular matter and make recommendations accordingly.
