Early Years, Childcare and Playwork can provide you with a career to be proud of. You will play a valuable role in shaping the lives of future generations.

There are many good reasons to work with children and young people. You’ll need enthusiasm, patience, a sense of fun and a commitment to ongoing training.  In return you will get a career that is varied, fulfilling and dynamic with real prospects.

Who can apply?

Men and women of all ages and all backgrounds can work with children.

There are opportunities for everyone; from level 2 qualified Nursery Assistants to graduate level Early Years Professionals.

For many jobs a qualification is essential, but with some you can train on the job.

Job vacancies

There are vacancies available in a variety of settings, including Children’s Centres, nurseries, pre-schools and out-of-school clubs.
