You can access GLLaB services at 47 different centres and sites around the borough, including community centres and children's centres.

Our work and learn bus also visits sites such as shopping centres and housing estates.

Services available include:

  • confidential one-to-one assessment of your skills and training development needs
  • a personal advisor to help you produce a Personal Development Plan that establishes the process for achieving your work aim
  • specific and relevant training and work experience opportunities, where funding is available
  • information on specialist agencies that can also offer you support
  • skills and experience matching to job vacancies
  • job search support such as workshops and help with job applications
  • assistance with travel fares, childcare fees, protective clothing and tool kits where funding is available.
