Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB)
Services to local people
Apprenticeships, work experience placement, voluntary work
GLLaB works in partnership with a range of organisations that from time to time ask GLLaB to recruit apprentices. There are age limits for apprenticeship schemes, which are normally 16-24 years old.
Paid work experience programmes (Intermediate Labour Market – ILM schemes) are also managed by GLLaB. These last between 13 and 26 weeks and give unemployed residents a chance to improve or develop their skills in the workplace.
GLLaB works in partnership with Greenwich Centre Volunteers to support unemployed residents with voluntary work placements to help them gain practical work experience and qualification training in a range of settings.
How to apply
