Free recruitment solutions

GLLaB has over eleven years' experience of providing free recruitment solutions to all types and sizes of businesses, matching skilled and experienced people to job vacancies.

We maintain a database of people seeking work in a wide range of employment sectors including: hospitality, construction, warehousing, catering, security, administration, logistics and retail.

To date we have supported nearly 8,000 people into work and provided skills training to over 7,000 Greenwich residents.

GLLaB is handling large-scale recruitment for companies such as: Anshutz Entertainment Group (AEG), Tenants at The O2 and Barclays.

We help with:

  • matching candidates to your job vacancy specification and sending you CVs for consideration
  • advertising and staffing recruitment open days to help you select candidates for interview
  • providing customised pre-employment training to candidates in order to meet your job vacancy requirements
  • providing interview facilities

Free business support services

GLLaB is actively working in partnership with a wide range of business support agencies helping Greenwich businesses benefit from emerging opportunities.

We can keep you updated on a range of business support opportunities and activities by:

  • putting you in contact with Greenwich Business Support Services for help with finding commercial premises, relocating, new business start up, advice on business growth and IT
  • putting you in contact with contracted business support agencies who will provide free expertise and undertake fit-to-supply audits to help support your business registration for future tendering opportunities such as those relating to the Olympic site
  • putting you in contact with the local chamber of commerce for business support and regular networking opportunities

Contractors - do you need additional labour?

A number of important construction projects in Greenwich and the surrounding area are getting underway in 2008 – such as the new head quarters for Transport for London being built next to The O2, Phase 2 fitting out of The O2 and also the Olympic site in Stratford.

GLLaB’s Greenwich Work and Learn Centre - also based next to The O2, should be Contractors first point of contact if you have construction vacancies.
