Parking permits

Here you will find all you need to know about how to get a parking permit for your vehicle. Permits normally entitle the holder to one year's parking.

Residents

If you're a Greenwich resident, you may live in a Controlled Parking Zone and need to find out how to get a permit to let you, or a visitor, park near your home.

Businesses

Greenwich businesses which are located in controlled parking zones are also entitled to permits, but only for vehicles used in running the business.

Looking for the Blue Badge scheme? See Disabled passengers/drivers pages for details.

Cost

The cost depends on which zone you wish to have a permit for and when you need one. Check our Parking Charges Table before you renew or buy a new permit.

Bank holidays and Christmas

You may not need a permit to park on public holidays. You can find details of these 'non operational' days in the Parking Charges Table.

Renewals

Don’t forget to renew your permit at least three weeks before it runs out. We will send you a reminder but ultimately it is your responsibility. If you fail to renew your permit and park in controlled parking zones you may receive a parking ticket.
