Businesses who operate in a Controlled Parking Zone and use one of the following may be eligible to apply for a permit:

  • motor car
  • goods vehicle (subject to a height limit of
    3 metres and a width limit of 1.95 metres) or
  • motorcycle with a side-car attached.

How many permits can we have?

Your business is allowed 10 permits. Permits can only be issued for vehicles that are used in the day-to-day running of the business. They are not available to employees as a form of on-street staff parking. However, instead of a vehicle registration number, these permits can be labelled with the name of the business so they can be used in different vehicles.

Cost

The price depends on which zone you wish to have a permit for. Look for your Controlled Parking Zone on the charges table to find out how much it will cost you.
