Parking associated with funerals

 
The Council does not offer a "coning" service to reserve space for funeral vehicles.

We never issue parking tickets to a hearse or other black limousines that form part of a cortege. 

Any other vehicles should be parked legally. If a property is within a controlled parking zone, visitor vouchers could be used to cover vehicles’ parking.

We understand the sensitive nature of such occasions and that it can be a very stressful time. If you let Parking Services know about any funeral where the parking or the circumstances may be particularly difficult, the team will do its best to assist and advise as appropriate.
